Does anyone know the kerbside weight of an MG4 Trophy LR?
It should also be on the off-side A-frame pillar (the inner door latch area?)It will be in the owner's manual![]()
It'll be that second motor. It must weigh more than 13kWh of batteries.I'm surprised that the XPower is heavier than the Trophy ER, given that the XPower has the same 64 kWh battery pack as the Trophy LR.

Don't tell @Bricktop X PWR that it has a second motor otherwise he'll start racing people off the line at traffic lights etc.True - I forgot about the 2nd motor! ?![]()
All those extra electrons!Is that the fully charged weight? ?
E = mc², and 64kWh of energy is 230MJ, meaning that a fully charged car weighs 2.6 µg more than one whose battery is completely empty.All those extra electrons!
Love the sammi picture!Excite 51 = 1634 kg (SE SR)
Excite 64 = 1648 kg ( SE LR)
Essence 64 =1672 kg (Trophy LR)
Essence 77 = 1748 kg (Trophy ER)
XPower = 1800 kg
Apparently a fully charged battery is ever so slightly heavier than an empty one. You are hard pushed to measure it but it is.Is that the fully charged weight? ?
She was my constant companion for 13 years. Sadly no longer with us.Love the sammi picture!
