My ZS ev 2021 13k miles the kers system has stopped working
in in all 3 positions . Any ideas
 
Do you mean you can't select the different regen levels or you can but it makes no difference?
I also assume in this that you are seeing the effect at HV Battery SOC below 100%.
 
The soc is about 3/4 the kers has not been operational for 2 or 3 weeks the kers has been changed a few times along with the mode ie eco, N or sport I stop the car using brake only

So if you drive along without MG Pilot engaged and you lift off the accelerator, the power meter never goes to minus anything ?

Sounds strange unless the battery is nearly full.

It can be reduced if it is really cold and you have the batter nearly full, all of the time, but if it stopped comepletely from day to day and never goes into minus it's strange.

If this is not the cause, i think you need to speak to MG about it, just weird if it does not give you any errors or warnings on the dash to tell you it knows something is wrong.
 
Tried disconnecting the 12V battery?

If so, I think these sorts of issues I think can only really be helped by a dealer/service center, these cars are computers on wheels.

Before going to the dealership disconnect the 12V battery for a minute or two then reconnect it you have a few alarms come up but will go away and see if this reset the Kers system.

Just to check. You are not using Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), either on its own or as full MG Piliot. With the ZS EV, unlike the MG4, KERS does not operate when ACC is being used.
