No, you must unbind the car from the current and rebind the new account.
I might give this a go. I've a domain with a 'catch all' email account so it doesn't really matter what I use. I've already got various addresses such as UpYoursNintendo@... and APCOAareSHIT@... ?I created a new account and bound that to the car, then the digital key worked.
Same here, do not add your phone number to the new account to start with though.I might give this a go. I've a domain with a 'catch all' email account so it doesn't really matter what I use. I've already got various addresses such as UpYoursNintendo@... and APCOAareSHIT@... ?
Nah, they're just shit, well their app is anyways ?I guess you've had a PCN from APCOA![]()
Still not as convenient as the keyless fob though.Once I'd got my 4 digit code sorted, I was able to drive the car (MG4 SE SR) just using the phone.
No dice, I've tried 3 Android phones and 2 Apple phones all with the same result. They connect to Bluetooth and can open the car doors but "key not detected" shows up whenever I sit downAlso worth a try is to uninstall and reinstall app on your phone and to clear the cache in the MG app.
Maybe... but, I bought the car to go completely key free as I don't use house keys anymore.Still not as convenient as the keyless fob though.
Hmm. Not in my case, and I tried it more than once.We process your data no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. At the most, the data is stored until the user deletes the ISMART account.
And you correctly pressed the keyless start button after ensuring the Bluetooth is connected? It's pretty straightforward, as soon as you get in the car a message comes up on the screen "key not detected" and "put the key the manual start position" - or words to that effect (I'm not with the car at the moment). It really doesn't need a video.
Like I said it used to work, I'm perfectly aware of what is supposed to happen.
Yep, tried all of that. There is a historic thread on forum where all this has been gone through before - about a year ago iirc.Have you tried to unbind the app and then binding to the car again?
Ooo latest version of the app?And you correctly pressed the keyless start button after ensuring the Bluetooth is connected?

And in the latest version of the app you calibrated Bluetooth?
And the digital key is there?
