Keys not working

When I was at the dealership test driving an MG4 earlier one of the staff mentioned some deliveries were being delayed. The reason being keys not being recognised by several hundred cars.

Is this just a rumour or has anyone heard or can confirm this?

Oh dear. Well my dealer at Redditch branch told me on sat that they had been promised delivery for monday but heard nothing so i wonder...
He said they need to get cars turned around by friday to hit targets but suppose if they aren't delivered no chance. Hopefully its sorted asap

I can’t confirm that, but what I can say is my dealer in Perth took delivery of their first transporter lorry load of MG4s today.
