Why? You can display them on the drivers display.
If you mean steer from the road side to the centre line of the road whilst a car was coming the opposite way, yes, that was what happened.

Push the infotainment/instrument button once (right side steering wheel, middle one). Now you can chose between various functions such as radio, tyre pressure, power consumption clicking the toggle left or right. If you started a navi session, one of the options is to show the navi info. I use it very often. Just enough info there.
TJA is intended for low speed traffic situations - hence the name, Traffic Jam Assist. However, it also works at higher speeds like a poor man's auto-pilot. The design intent is to keep the car centrally in the lane, hence why the steering wheel fidgets a lot ... they don't have much damping on the assistance.
I was told at my MG4 service last week that they were developing a lka suitable for british roads. It'd be ready by next autumn and they would load then, or on the next annual service.
Might as well default to 'off' then. ?I believe that its being developed to make allowances for pot holes

Here is link to find which one you haveSince my service in April my TJA assist has gone from perfectly usable on motorways to very dangerous, veering to the left and right whereas before it was pretty much staying central in the lane and giving small adjustments when needed.
However the LKA is much better, never beeps and even when I try steering off over the line to test it it has very gentle correction, not the crazy jerky movements it used to make which was diffcult to self correct. The electro magnet or however the steering rack is controlled by the computer is much less powerful. No idea what software version I am on, but
Overall I am still loving the car. I see more and more negative press about electric cars all the time and my colleagues are all very negative about them too (cos the believe what they read!) Its a bit sad.

I took my Trophy in this week with a long list of issues. They upgraded the infotainment to R46 and claim to have updated a number of modules. The service receptionist (who just passes on messages) claimed that the ACC dropping-out as you're overtaking is expected behaviour. Also the daylight sensitivity is as expected for the lights. The lane keep functions are still nudging me one way or another (possibly even worse). I've never known the pothole situation to be as bad as it is this year and it's hard enough to avoid them without something else tugging at the steering.
