Tesla charges @ MerryHill. Tipping down when I started. No probs except me getting wet ( and phone screen!!).
Super charging @ cheap rate ?.

...and at that price, why wouldn't you 100% when you've got to do the distance ? ?

They should still put canopies over chargers. If not for electrical safety, to protect the charger, to keep the driver dry, and to prevent the damn things getting buried in snow.

I note from the comments that it is the considered conclusion of the forum that no protection from the elements whilst charging is required. However, for those of us with a more anxious disposition and have been inculcated with 'electricity plus water - bad' I will continue to use anything to keep a dry charging port.

Don't charge in rain? Genuinely didn't know that one. I've left mine plugged in during the rain but I hate mine like a mother does her son in law.
