I thought I'd done well, 16 months in and no wheel or tyre damage. Then I kerbed the front nearside. Fortunately have alloy wheel cover. The repairer's instructions state that the "locking wheel nut key" must be available.
Can't find one, anywhere with the car. Not referred to in the Owners Manual, but the Quick Guide does refer to "Wheel Bolt Cap Removal Tool" (not the same thing).
I tried to remove the wheel trim but it was very reluctant so I decided to let the repairer do it, because if he damages it (I haven't - just the wheel) he can replace it!
On previous cars the locking wheel nut has been stored with the spare wheel (not got one of those either!) or in the glove box.
Am I alone or should I have a locking wheel nut key?
