Low battery pop up ?

Hi folks,

For the last couple of days when I initially get into the car, as it starts up I get a pop up that says "Low Battery - would you like to enable eco mode?" And it gives either ok or cancel options.

I drove it 8 miles today and when I got in after going to the shop, the message didn't appear so it appears to be intermittent.

I charged to 100% from 43% on the 12th, and its currently at around 68% so no where near low.

Also, since then the traffic sign recognition function seems to choose randomly to be either on or off with each start up.

I've not had any updates or changed any settings myself.

Bizarre behaviour.

Or a low voltage bad 12v triggering the message.

That was my initial thought, but then I was wondering why it asked me if I wanted to turn on eco mode? I have a battery tester so will check with that.

The onboard display seems to suggest the 12v is charging whilst the HV battery is active as it shows 14.2v but I know from bad batteries in previous cars that really doesn't mean a great deal.

checked the battery this morning and its kept its charge as I would expect, not dipped dramatically, I'll still keep an eye on it though

Have you checked the battery terminals to make sure they're nipped up and not loose.

I will definitely check them when I clean the car. Thanks
