No need to drop the battery and repair the pyro fuse inside? That's great. I thought if the airbags went off it would be a lot of work. Sounds like you did everything with VAG?

In the UK I used the sips & VDS software, you buy a login from rmi.mgmotor.eu, 1 day is €19 (£16.24)
I tried to buy one of those adapters but sellers kept cancelling the orders so got a VNCI version

Hello all. I am amazed with good of you community here. I get crashed mg4 (still in transit) and will try to fix it for every day driving.
First thing that I need will be to make it drive somehow. Can you advise me about software, cable or other things that I will need? I understand that I will need VDI2 but I am not sure .

I will update here with all things that I learn.

You need to locate the crash module, I believe it is under the centre console. When you unplug it, the car will start again, then you can go through the steps to replace the airbags and other devices that have triggered, like the seatbelt tensioners and what ever was damaged in the original crash.
Once you get all of those sorted, you can get the crash module reflashed so you can get all the boxes ticked to go and get it registered if that is your intention ...... but do the reflash and plug in after you have everything else fixed, if you don't, it will just trip the crash module and you will be back to where you started ......

Hi cheers for that don’t know much about these vehicles mg4 2023 yes need to it start then get on with rest off it . I will try that unplug srs unit see if it starts I did find a fuse orange one by the fuse box . I will let you know how I got on cheers

Unplug srs module under front part of central console. Get off 12 v battery till the car all systems turn off (there is 12 v super capacitor). Install 12 v battery and you have less than 1min to go in ready mode. After if it switch off you must repeat the procedure.

Hi so unplug the srs module with battery on the go take the lead off the battery until the car is off . Then reconnect the battery lead I have 1 min to go in to ready mode . When you done this will the car drive or you have do this all the time when you start it .cheers

Make sure the 12V battery is fully charged, a low voltage 12V battery will give you a lot of faults that are nothing to do with the SRS module.
Disconnect the 12V battery and let the capacitor drain, before unplugging or plugging anything in on the wiring harness, voltage spikes will destroy sensitive electronics and the damage mostly can not be repaired

Hi, tried that but it still doesn’t start. Now shows HV battery shut down.

There are no hv battery light now and ac heat pump work ( battery is discharging normal).
I hope that all is soft lock and is fixable.

This is the condition of front radar....i will check it later.

I see something else - tires are 205 55 16 original must be 215 45 17 as docs in car. I wonder can i fit 205 65 16 or 215 65 16 because of clearance update and rims save from our "perfect" roads.

The car goes even without radars, I had both bumpers down and I drove 15 km without a problem

And after installing both bumpers, I can't track the blind spot, I don't know if the radars need to be calibrated now?
