MG HS PHEV SOFTWARE VERSION

Hi, does anyone know.
A, how to access software version?
B, what Is the very latest version.
C, will the main dealer update it FOC

Are you refering to the Sat Nav version or the Linux OS Head display version ?

For what its worth, mine is going in this afternoon for a new n/s mirror (close encounter of the refuse bin kind) and they've said they will also do any software upgrades it needs.

I have asked the dealer and MG about a SW update. Seems any SW update has to be authorised by MG, the car goes into the dealer, they check the SW on their laptop, if anything shows up they email MG and request the update, if it's okay MG email back and authorise the update for that particular car/model. There was mention of having to check it was the right version, in case the Chinese/German/Whatever version was installed! I would have thought that checking SW version was combined with the VIN # so should be a simple exercise.

No software update done on Friday (which doesnt mean it didn't maybe need one, I have limited faith in the dealer). This is the version I've got:

Had my first service on Friday. No mentioned of any software update or in fact, of anything. I think this was the software already in the car.

i think you are looking at the sat nav software which you have to update, car software would not show up here. The sat nav is not very good compared with Tom Tom which I had in my last car, I tend to use my phone through a Bluetooth system lot better.
