Nissan Renault will hook up with Honda to make EVs. Mercedes were previously doing work with Chinese ev company. SaiC want 5 million sales per annum which will put them on equal footing with Nissan and BMW etc. The Germans want to compete with the Chinese are offering help in a 500 million customer market. Its a no brainer. Chinese market is over 10 times the size of UK.
