MG UK Mil Discount - 4 LR Trophy £23,365.75

Wow, how the prices have come down.

When you look at the actual deals on offer, nothing can touch it.

I know I have been critical of reliability with mine but I think there's still a really good case to buy an MG EV: many people are completely happy and you just can't beat the value, so if you buy knowing the risks / downsides, why not get a bargain?

Do you have a link to that?

Just googled but nothing came up.

Went to Motorfinity EV and MG has disappeared?

My Defence Discount Card doesn't list MG.

TIA ???

I can find New X Powers at 30k on Carwow.

I might buy another now and just park up the other one til the rejection is done!

Some great deals out there at the moment especially personal lease.

Cupra Born V3 77kwh battery 10000 miles 2 years £2500 upfront £257 a month.

VW ID7 pro 77 kWh battery, 8000 miles 2 years, £2500 upfront £286 a month.

Nissan Ariya 87kwh e4orce 8000 miles 2 years £2500 £282

Amazing how much things have moved on in 2 years

Quite a few at this price

Well, I wanted a car in April 2023 and I needed a car before November 2023 at the absolute latest, so there's no point in me bitching about it. And I've had an enormous amount of fun with my car in the past 18 months, and learned a lot, so I still consider I'm ahead on the deal.
Nobody is really bitching just merely reflecting on the good deals available now compared to 2 years ago.
Can't live your life on what may be, as long as you were happy at the time

Yeah they are really flooding the market.

Was wondering if this was a shift of stock to the UK that were destined for Europe but I guess not because they would have been RHD.

If these are old stock being cleared out (and I found out my just bought "new" unregistered car is 20 months old) then who's been storing it and where? Is it dealer owned but stored centrally near some port or other? Or is it MG-UK owned, or SAIC-owned and held in the Netherlands or somewhere with the dealers offered this old stock at discount prices? I guess I'm asking who's ledger it's been sitting on for 20 months and wheres it's been kept.

It looks like a lot of the stock is black, the least popular colour. At least I got a blue one.

Right hand drive countries in the EU are Cyprus, Malta and the Republic of Ireland. Could it be that these cheap cars were originally destined there but diverted to the UK because of new punitive import tariffs imposed on Chinese EVs?
