MG UK Mil Discount - 4 LR Trophy £23,365.75

Do you have a link to that?

Just googled but nothing came up.

Went to Motorfinity EV and MG has disappeared?

My Defence Discount Card doesn't list MG.

TIA ???

I can find New X Powers at 30k on Carwow.

I might buy another now and just park up the other one til the rejection is done!
It's MG AFFINITY

Just chopped my 12 month old ZS 1.5 Excite in three years before pcp ends, had to clear a couple of grand in equity, because of the offer of a brand new unreg 5SE in blue at £19300, nil deposit, same balloon (ish) just another £50 pcm. Already saving money and loving the car….

Welcome to #teamblue.

Good idea, I'd love the XPower, but at 76, perhaps my speed days are behind me ?? but my wife thinks my 4 trophy is quick enough, mine is approaching it's 1st anniversary, trouble is there's a huge deficit, may just wait until it's 2 years old, love the look of the new Skoda Elroq, a bit more cash, but the upper end spec is looking good.

Wow, how the prices have come down.

When you look at the actual deals on offer, nothing can touch it.

I know I have been critical of reliability with mine but I think there's still a really good case to buy an MG EV: many people are completely happy and you just can't beat the value, so if you buy knowing the risks / downsides, why not get a bargain?
Agree fabulous prices however beware of depreciation, unsure if its just MG's or ev's in general, my £25k Es just had its first mot, worth less than £8k on WBAC. Love ev's but unlikely to buy a new one

I think that is a fair comment and applies to all EVs. Last year I bought a 1yo Zoe at half price, returned it due to non-ev related dealer issues. This year I could have bought a 1yo MG for under £15k I expect, but I’m genuinely trying to find an 8 year car this time, and the 5SE and 7yr warranty, plus the glowing reviews from Cleevely were really tempting. Just did my first long trip out at 172 miles old, 400 mile round trip to Suffolk and back, 3.8mpkwh so very happy. Really like the wafting suspension, and ACC was a huge benefit on all roads, not just the M25. LKA and TJA were a bit too twitchy for me though. Eco, eco heater and KERS 3 combined with 65mph really stretched the range, arrived Lowestoft on 18% after 190 miles, 80% top up and another 20-40% top up to get home, then overnight on the Ohme pulled 41.3 to get back up to 80% from 18%. Probably off topic by now but just my two pence worth to say EVs aren’t just about the capital numbers, it’s the overall benefit that makes the switch work so well for some…
Plan is to keep the car at the end of the pcp, my pension lump sum ties in nicely with that. In real terms it’s not the most expensive car I’ve ever had, if it devalues too much it will only help the case for keeping it!
