Ive ordered from Minstergate in Hull - Ive gone for White SE trim!
I was there having the 2nd year service on my Mk1 ZS EV and asked to speak to the sales staff, the chap I ordered the car through is off sick and has been for a couple of months apparently, the guy I spoke to said they told all his customers that delivery was pushed back to may, but I never got a call or an email from them. I have ordered a Black Trophy on the 2nd Nov.I also ordered from Chorley. Did you call them or did they call you?
What spec/colour did you order and on what date if you don't mind me asking?

Did you order through Andy?Well, I've definitely not had any contact from Chorley.
@MilesperkWh - is this delay from MG something that can be covered in the next podcast?

Please do report backI missed a call from one of the Chorley lads yesterday ( Tuesday ) hopefully I will speak to him on Friday now.
I will ask for an update on any delivery slippages, when I speak to him.
I would guess its either... your car is here, or your car is delayed until May!I missed a call from one of the Chorley lads yesterday ( Tuesday ) hopefully I will speak to him on Friday now.

To be fair, I receive a call from the sales person about once a month !.I would guess its either... your car is here, or your car is delayed until May!![]()
i just revalued my leaf on motorway and its gone up in value despite adding over 1000 miles over the last few months. mg revalued it a while ago at £15k, motorway are now offering over £16k. 3.5 yrs old, 41k miles. To be fair, I receive a call from the sales person about once a month !.
Just a quick call to say hello and give us any updates on our order.
I have bought many cars over the years and have struggled to get my calls returned, if ever at all !.
This is my first dealings with the Chorley Group and so far the service has been really good !.
We have commended their service in writing.
I know my car has NOT arrived because I only want it AFTER the mad rush on the 1st of March.
But this is unlikely to happen now anyway, if the cars are delayed.
To be honest, we waited about four months for the original ZS EV to arrive, so it is looking very similar this time around !.
Due to the shortage of “Chips” the price of second hand cars ( especially EV’s ) are holding their values.
I do expect the dealer to standby their valuations on trade in value on the P/X cars.
Time will tell !.
KIA showroom offered £24k trade in for my Kona.i just revalued my leaf on motorway and its gone up in value despite adding over 1000 miles over the last few months. mg revalued it a while ago at £15k, motorway are now offering over £16k. 3.5 yrs old, 41k miles.
Its not been announced yet, though its thought to cost around £200 - £250 for the V2L adapter.Ordered a Trophy Connect in red - expected April. I wondered if anyone had any news of the accessory for vehicle to load. I cannot find any details of this including cost.
You'd assume webuyanycar would be the lowest so that's quite surprising.KIA showroom offered £24k trade in for my Kona.
Exchangemycar offered £24k (+nuisance calls and emails).
Justevs offered £25k.
Motorway offered £26k.
WeBuyAnyCar offered £27k.
Guess who I'm going with when I get a delivery date.![]()
Yep, surprised me as well from previous experience. I'll be giving it a full showroom style valet before I take it. The paint work and upholstery have a Supacoat coating and that came with their cleaning products. You'd assume webuyanycar would be the lowest so that's quite surprising.
Having said that; what will they knock off when they inspect it?
I’ve not had any price reductions - as long as you describe it using their guidelines. I’ve used Motorway too.Yep, surprised me as well from previous experience.
