Evm is great his review of the zs was really good
The plan is to sell the Gen-1 but it will depend on what I can get for it as I didn't get the govt rebate. I'll see what the dealer offers as a trade in or what the prices are like for private sales....when the cars arrive in NZ.I'm pleased to hear that Granny works for you Raj. Will you keep your existing ZS?
Check the prior page...status remains the same for now:Anyone see where ‘Adriatic Highway’ is currently? My vessel finder app hasn’t updated its location for 5 days now. All the others are showing with regular updated locations or can be refreshed. It hasn’t bl00dy sunk with my car on it has it?? ???
Victorious Ace is a possibility for June deliveries. Just left Livorno, Italy
Adriatic Highway left Shanghai on 29 May, due Suez 11 June
Splendid Ace is due to arrive in Shanghai today
For some reason, the location on vessel finder doesn’t update between Singapore and the Suez Canal. No reports of any vehicle carriers capsized, so I’m sure it’s still afloat!Anyone see where ‘Adriatic Highway’ is currently? My vessel finder app hasn’t updated its location for 5 days now. I have good news and bad news…the good news is…yours is not the only car…the bad news…I don’t think cars can swim?Anyone see where ‘Adriatic Highway’ is currently? Silly as it sounds, I've been watching foreign car shows & have my ears open for any whisper of a marque 3. It's not inconceivable that there could be one in the works before end of 2023, when they'll probably still be delivering on the current version.Seeing all the long delays in getting a new MG EV ZS. Will the model be out of date on delivery?
I did see one red ZS in the car park a couple of weeks ago but I don't know who owned it or whether it was short range/long range. But not many MG's I imagine !!
Obviously I also felt that the ZS EV was the best value for money otherwise I wouldn't have ordered one. However, factoring in the salary sacrifice tax breaks and stronger residuals, the monthly saving wasn't huge. If I could go back to December I would order an ID4 and I would be driving it around today.Ordering a Tesla now has a 9 month waiting list. Lots of people prepared to splash out £60k+ for them !
Jaguar iPace has no fixed delivery. Another £65k+ EV that people buy.
Hyundai Ioniq is way more expensive than the MG ZS EV. The Kona is a smaller car and does not look or feel as premium a car as the ZS EV.
The Skoda Enyaq BEV is far more expensive than the ZS EV when you spec it out the same - though is a bit larger.
The VW ID3 interior is not a patch on the ZS EV, and is now just as hard to get new as the ZS EV.
Not defending MG, but where will you find a similarly sized BEV with the range, features and price of the ZS EV. It really is worth the wait - IMHO.
So the MG Marvel will be here before our orders if they are not careful. A lovely looker it is too.Silly as it sounds, I've been watching foreign car shows & have my ears open for any whisper of a marque 3. It does look lovely - I'm not keen on the screen placement/pitch, though I do like the display size. It'll also be a fair bit more expensive than the ZS if it ever makes it here.So the MG Marvel will be here before our orders if they are not careful. A lovely looker it is too.
Think you're being bit optimistic with ID4, it has a 12 month estimated delivery, note estimated... All or at least most car makers in same situation.Obviously I also felt that the ZS EV was the best value for money otherwise I wouldn't have ordered one. ID4 is no different for delivery times and promises than most BEVs.I did see one red ZS in the car park a couple of weeks ago but I don't know who owned it or whether it was short range/long range.

Dealer plz?Stick in there....Ordered my ZS EV LR in December. Initially told April...changed to June....changed to August. Out the blue on Wednesday my dealer phoned me to say 3 cars had turned up, they weren't expecting them and that one of them was mine.... Now the proud owner of an MG ZS EV LR in Red. Loving it so far, glad i waited.
