Dear Mick, I didn’t once blame Chorley or Miles, this is what I said in fact..Various mentions of Chorley including in your posts, just don't understand why people can be jealous about a dealer obtaining cars. Any issues should be directed at their own dealer and my apologies for tagging Miles but he is basically the face and voice of Chorley on here...
I appreciate Miles is doing his job and if he is in MG’s good books that makes him a proactive good dealer and well done to him, no blames on him, they have been suffering as an industry so surely they will accept to sell all they can! It’s MG who are unfairly distributing cars.MG’s actions, preying on the current automotive cirisis and their customers’ desperation show greed and zero care for their customers, only their pockets. Let me stress that I think that comes from MG and not the dealerships, dealerships sell what they are given or can get their hands on and given the difficulties they are facing, good for them!
I only mentioned the Chorley group because Miles mentioned, on the recent podcast, their acquisition of 60 SR cars, of which my understanding was that not all were named customer orders since he offered them to people watching who are interested in acquiring an SR. I didnt mean to single them out but I dont know of any other dealerships who may have had such grace from MG because I am only a simple customer trying to make sense of all this myself, as unfortunately my dealership who are clearly not in MG’s graces, dont get any updates despite them assuring me that they chase them on a daily basis, and have not received a single EV LR or SR ?.
I don’t understand the mention of jealousy, it has nothing to do with jealousy, more to do with the expectation that since we live in a democratic country, these democratic proceedings are extended in all aspects of business as well, but maybe I guess here is where it plays a part who owns MG.
