MG4 Charging slowly

Hi,

Started to charge this morning with my Zappi from 38% to 90%. Started charge at 10.30 and at 12:30 it had only done 9% of charge (now at 47%). Dashboard says "charging slowly" yet my Zappi is charging at the 7.1 kWh it should be as per normal. Anyone any idea why it's taking longer than normal or is it just me thinking it's charging slowly. I have it on "Fast >>".

Any observations welcome/

When I charged using a podpoint at about 6kW the display says charging slowly. Perhaps it means AC charging?

I just got my MG4 trophy 4 days ago. I'm experiencing the same issue with the Zappi. Did you figure it out? If anyone else can help it will be much appreciated. Thanks

I've got the smaller SR battery, but I reckon to get about 10% of the battery in an hour on the Zappi.

What does the MyEnergi app think the Zappi is giving the car? What does the MG iSmart app think the car is getting?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I've not checked the Zappi app, but the MGi Smart app shows the same as the infotainment display slow charging etc

The Zappi is a 22kwh charger. My colleague has a Nissan Ariya and it charges fully in 3 hours (330 miles). Do you think it's a Zappi Mg compatibility issue?

Let's not discuss the same thing in two threads. I see you've started a new thread, so we can stick with that. But basically the answer is that your car doesn't have the capability to charge at more than 7 kw on AC no matter what the rating of the charger.
