Mine is booked in for Tuesday. Dealer had received service bulletin to drain and refill as others have mentioned. I could have had it done tomorrow but can't wait while it's done.
Post #106 in this topic. They mentioned they were going to.Hi all, I can’t remember who it was a few days back in one of these threads about leaks on the mg 4 and I have looked but can’t find the posting
Spray lube, nice. I’m sure the missus has someAt least it appears to be an easy fix ?

Let me no if they can because I've tried everything I no that workssimilar story here, took mine into the dealer this morning and waited, tech said seemed to be coming from the breather, drained some out and cleaned up. Will keep and eye on more leaks...
Any one know how to clean this oil from the drive ?
Surely if this is a serious problem, the dealers should be contacting all the customers to review the vehicles, not everyone crawling under your cars to look for evidence. Not everyone reads these forums. If there is a circular, can someone please post it here so we can understand what is going on?
On the basis it was liquid when I checked and the car had not been run or charged that day and it was about 10C I strongly question the wax statement!
I think it's a red herring too, but to be fair, they are only commenting on what they saw on their car.On the basis it was liquid when I checked and the car had not been run or charged that day and it was about 10C I strongly question the wax statement!
Agree mine hadn’t been driven for a couple of days and the stuff still felt oily, just hoping it doesn’t start again now after reading this lot ??On the basis it was liquid when I checked and the car had not been run or charged that day and it was about 10C I strongly question the wax statement!

Just a thought - for those thinking of just leaving it to see if it stops on its own - given where it was all going - how well protected are the brakes, battery and HV cables ? Would be handy for some assurance from the dealers on this
