And very disconcerting was the discovery that the 360 camera seems to be a one off shot. He said it works once, but if you try to use it again some other time in the journey, it's a blankHe must get paid per word as he didn't stop once for breath ?
It is definitely a press car with 22 plate. Quite likely buggy software, hopefully since fixed, I haven't heard about other complaints of this. And very disconcerting was the discovery that the 360 camera seems to be a one off shot. If that is another 'needs a software update' thing, why realise a car when this (one time per journey 360 camera) situation is present?
Maybe it was just the press car a bit dogey?
It worked OK on my test drive even showing the kerb when turning left at a junction with the indicator on.And very disconcerting was the discovery that the 360 camera seems to be a one off shot. He said it works once, but if you try to use it again some other time in the journey, it's a blank

This seems a very reasonable explanation.Hmmm. It could be to do with insurance. The cover for the public to test drive the car doesn't cover business use which as he's posting it on YouTube and making money from it he will be classified as a business. The other journalists will have had to use their own insurance.
Mine works ok, but is a bit fiddly when manoeuvring. If you reverse it comes on automatically as you'd expect, if you then go forwards it turns off and if you want it you have to turn it on yourself. Go backwards again and it's on. Then go forwards and you have to turn it on again. And so on. Selecting it manually doesn't keep it on all the time when shuffling backwards and forwards. I'd prefer it to stay on all the time at slow speeds if I've turned it on manually, whether going backwards or forwards. At the moment, I've got it mapped to a favourite button to make it easy to turn on when going forwards. It worked OK on my test drive even showing the kerb when turning left at a junction with the indicator on.
Is it that the cameras only work below a certain speed and maybe he was above the speed when he tried it ?And very disconcerting was the discovery that the 360 camera seems to be a one off shot. He said it works once, but if you try to use it again some other time in the journey, it's a blank

He said he tried it again later in the journey and it wouldn't work. I presume he didn't try it again going 25mph or so, but just usual stuff/speeds where you'd utilise a camera. But who knows. Is it that the cameras only work below a certain speed and maybe he was above the speed when he tried it ?
Have just got off the phone with the service manager. He checked my registration number and reconfirmed that there is no software update available for my Trophy. As mine was one of the very earliest batch sold, I am completely confused now. Can you please get more info about your update and let me know, so I can pass this on. Failing that please let me have your dealer’s number so I can ask them about it.No charge. Service manager told me new update released last week. Will know more next Wednesday.
Had a Trophy since October 5th, no issues with 360 camera at all.And very disconcerting was the discovery that the 360 camera seems to be a one off shot. He said it works once, but if you try to use it again some other time in the journey, it's a blank

What version do you have for your Trophy? Latest I've seen reported (here) is R30.
99% sure that's where the latch mechanism is/goes to lock it uprightI noticed when the reviewer put the back seat down, there was what appears to be a hole in the fabric on the back of the seat. That’s not right surely?
Yep. My Zoe has the same holes.99% sure that's where the latch mechanism is/goes to lock it upright
