@Jester27 recently did exactly this and bought one. Not sure if he’s still hanging around here but there’s information on one of the rejected car threads.
I'm still lurking ??
Loving the model 3.
Really nice to drive.
The superchargers are awesome, 250kw on the one I used bringing my car home.
Nothing to activate.
Once the app is set up
Just roll in, hook up the car.
The charger recognises your car and starts charging.
Then bills you.
Nothing to press, no messing about getting it going.
Just plug in and get back in the car.
Cheap too at 40p kw compared to the 65p I paid on gridserve with the MG4 and that only hit 50kw.
Service from Tesla is brilliant.
Book via the app.
If they can do what's needed at your home they'll send a ranger out.
If not they'll give you options for day/time at the service centre.
I booked mine in for fogged up rear lights this week on Tuesday night and it went in yesterday for sorting.
These were changed under warranty no questions asked.
All contactless.
Drop the car off at the service centre
walk away
You don't need to hand any keycard over etc
They can access the car themselves.
They keep you up to date via the app.
Then message you when ready to collect.
If there's anything to pay you pay your dues then they give you a pin to put in the screen so you can drive away.
If nothing to pay like mine was, they just send the pin and when you rock up to collect you just get back in the car, type in the pin and drive home.
All Comms are done via the app.
Fantastic service.
You're not just buying the car with a Tesla, your buying into the whole infrastructure etc.
Which is brilliant so far.
Finally I'm a very happy owner of a new (to me) car, even if this one is 3 years old.
