Is the Marvel from before 2022?

He bought a brand new 4wd just a few weeks ago.

Good evening, is there a route planner with this R59 update?

Just for curiosity, you can't set LKA to one of the shortcut bottons on the wheel?

For one thing, does the left pull down reveal an ELK/LKA toggle?

Also, I would like to hear if ACC has improved (particularly in situations when overtaking slower cars).

Last but not least, coyld you check the navi? Does it have updated maps, ev stations? Does the navi assist you to plan charge stops if you plan a trip?

You need to ask for ACC software update. I have R59, and the rest of the modules is old softwares. I don't have time to go to the dealer because they dumb there. This causes to some bugs like left star button stack and ACC don't react to gap setting.

And yes, ELK can be disabled from the pulldown menu

I have the latest r46 related updates. Nothing else to improve with this one.

I assume you confirm that there is ev charger in trip planning. Nice. Now let us find out if they updated the maps..
The lka button is better than what it is now. Not the best but I could do with it.

Anyone know how we get the route planning update, what do we need to ask for.

Mine will be going for a new tray and I want to get the following resolved.

• Bluetooth keeps disconnecting & CarPlay won’t always connect and drops out
• Black screen CarPlay
• LKA terrible, pulls into verge, sudden dangerous auto braking
• Custom drives modes don’t retain preferences

However, I also don’t want DC charging issues which seems to be fairly common after some updates are done.

I recently received updates for ACC issues and it doesn't change a bit. My take on it is that the camera is faulty. So I asked for a calibration as it was suggested by the service manager himself! But they only did a software update...
Just to make things clear from my side: I haven't had true phantom brakings. Unexpected and unnecessary braking was always associated with safety systems taking wrong decisions...

I would simply demand an updated navi / map system since you paid for that service...

My car is going to 3 bars gap when i start my car like the driving and regen mode. I can't feel any differences between 3 bars and 1 bar. It feels like the car is stuck on gap 3.

This is the problem when they update one module to recent version, and leave other modules at factory software.

At 2020 they released here all modules software update recall to ZS ev and ehs. But i can't see this happening with MG4. I don't have time to fight with them to get what i deserve.

I did get the update that makes the distance stick under r46. And I definitely felt and still feel a difference between 1 and 3 bars. Guess I'm more lucky than you are.

More then 1 year there is no software updates available with VIN even for the first production line, i think it will be stay like this

There are updates, but they only make them if you complain about problems and limited to those problems. Furthermore, updates often don't just fix those, but introduce improvements to the user experience

I compliment about these problems and they only updated the infotainment to R59. 24 plate (but phase 1) car. Should go back to the dealer? Its stupid becuse this can jump the user experience.

2. Can a technically experienced individual apply the updates manually, ie by flashing with usb etc?
3. Do we have any wiki page or similar where I can read up on firmware version?

4. What could the reason be for my car to not receive ES updates? I have even given it access to my home WiFi ?

I haven't received even one update to my ES, ever.

MG are very secretive about their software and the only way to get software updates is through your approved MG dealer and even then they don't know the version numbers.

The only updates that might be available eventually is for the infotainment system but there is no sign of it happening in the near future.

Over the air updates for the car don't yet exist sadly. Users are unable to download and apply any of the updates themselves. Must be done by a dealer

Not entirely. There are updates of the lane assist, there are updates of the camera modules, there is an update of the charger software, button functions have changed. There is a BT update, some received updates for the wireless charger.
But not yet anything on the maps or so. But I do expect with r59 that maps are updated (there seems to be ev charger functionality in this update to plan your trip).
