MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

Red Trophy spotted at Strathaven Leisure Centre just before 6pm on Wednesday evening ... I parked next to you.

BTW your front passenger window was about 1/3 open. ;)

I'm forever doing that. When opening or closing the door, I catch the switch and it drops varying degrees. It would be nice to have windows close on locking.

Black 73 plate SE overtook me on the road into East Kilbride this morning, just after the 50 limit change heading towards the Birniehill roundabout. :)

Grey SE in Biggar town centre (travelling north) about 11.45 this morning.

Blue SE travelling north on the A702, seen between West Linton and Carlops about 3.15 this afternoon.

We got a phase 2 when we picked up our car a year ago. The rear wiper is good, the centre headrest a pain for my missus. Being an ex-commercial driver, I am used to vehicles that don't have a view out the back window (or even a back window!), so it wouldn't bother me at all.

I saw a phase 2 car with the rear wiper on the M25 and thought it looked ugly. I've never felt I needed a wiper apart from sometimes for a couple of minutes when driving off during/after a heavy rain storm.

That's mainly what we use it for.

The wipers (front and back) annoy me intensely because they are so noisy. Well, that might be unfair. They may be quite quiet, but because the car drives silently, they are very noticeable.

MG should have considered this when designing the car.

Surely the NVH assessment would have highlighted this?

Motor operation or blades on screen?

If the latter, buy some new wiper blades.

Night and day for noise and operation.

All EVs suffer from perceived high noise level because they are so quiet otherwise. This doesn't mean that the NVH measurements are out of line with ICE vehicles.

Edit: For cost reasons things like wipers will be off the shelf OEM parts and the same as ICE vehicles, they wouldn't get redesigned for an EV case at these price points.

Two fellow members of Team Orange this morning. The first was coming down Caerwys Hill on the B5122 as I was going up it, and then I was behind the second one on the A55 eastbound between Colwyn Bay and Rhuddlan. Never seen two in one day before.

Apologies to this lady!
I've seen you before but never waved.
I think you waved at me today but I didn't notice til you went by.
Are you on here?

Smurf pulled up in our street in Didcot as I was unplugging the car and checking the charge level.

I should have popped over and said hi before you drove off!
