MG4 Ticking/Rattling Noise Coming From Behind The Steering Wheel

Does Saic take responsibility for this problem? Is there an official document?

The Dealer in Israel cannot find the fault after disassembling the wheel.
He is not ready to disassemble the bearing because he has no proof that this is the solution to the problem

pls help
Did he have any proof the wheel was the problem before disassembling that? Because the wheel isn’t the problem so seems a bit strange he needs proof before working on something all of a sudden.

Sounds like he just doesn’t want to do the work. As long as you pay him for his time he shouldn’t need proof to look where you hire him to look I would argue. Can you take your car elsewhere maybe?

If I repair at another garage the warranty on parts will be removed
He took the wheel apart to check if there was any noise from the bearing, he probably didn't hear anything if he didn't change or lower it
That's why I need something official from SAIC so that they can check and replace it

Yes, clicking, ticking sound heard inside the car at low speeds. Tyre and wind noise eventually mask it as speed increases.
I too thought it was coming from behind the steering wheel or somewhere behind the dashboard but then realised that the speed of the clicking increased in relation to road speed.

That's what prompted me to investigate the hubs .
Precisely what I'm hearing.

The big problem is that MG global ignores the issue, they don't try to provide a solution
How can the issue be handled?

The car was in today and the mechanic also heard the ticking/ratling noise that speeds up with increasing car speed.
They failed to fix all things (updates took too long) but they admitted hearing the ticking from outside the car. However, the manager claims it isn't the wheel bearing.

What else could it be?

What is the risk if you continue driving with a faulty wheel bearing?
I guess the wheel could come off eventually? If it siezes it would overheat potentially causing a fire? Those would be my two main concerns but I’m not a professional mechanic or anything like that.

It'll get noisier and noisier, to the point where you can't bear it any longer so you'll go get it fixed. :)

On the 12th they knew it was broken. They delayed the order awaiting the judgement of a senior mechanic. Now the order is delayed/ not available yet.
