Hi, just got my first electric car and would welcome suggestions for a good quality. well fitting cover for it. There seems to be plenty out there but a lot of one size fits all types. TIA

I used this company for a cover for my RCZ, it fits like a glove, absolutely perfect. Only downside for me was shipping. A bit of a hassle as I'm in Australia, had it shipped to my mum in France, and she then send it on.

I don't know if the price is right for you, but the quality is immaculate. If I ever wanted another custom fitted cover for a car I would buy from them without hesitation.

For my RCZ I ended up buying the Stormforce All Weather cover. Came in a storage bag as well.

The pictures on the website I believe are just examples of the fabric, my RCZ fits perfectly, even accounting for the side mirrors. It's like putting a tight fitting onesie on your car.

What's the inner/underside of the cover made from? Is it soft fabric that when windy, won't eventually scuff edges of paintwork?

Car Covers are a complete PITA in my experience.

Car scrupulously clean first? No?

Then don't put a cover on it.

Any movement caused by wind or even just fitting the cover can cause it to rub dirt into the paint.

Tight cover, loose cover? both covers will risk scratching the paint if not clean beforehand.

It's a faff to put on, a faff to take off, then where to store it.

If it's wet, it needs to be dried.

The novelty of covering it up will wear off.

Seen some annoying damage caused by car covers, as you say you can never guarantee there is no dust/grit etc on the car or the cover, and wind and it acts like fine grit sand paper..

Cover is fine for inside (garage etc) but in a country as windy as the UK I wouldn't touch one.
