Hi, just got my first electric car and would welcome suggestions for a good quality. well fitting cover for it. There seems to be plenty out there but a lot of one size fits all types. TIA
Seen some annoying damage caused by car covers, as you say you can never guarantee there is no dust/grit etc on the car or the cover, and wind and it acts like fine grit sand paper..Car Covers are a complete PITA in my experience.
Car scrupulously clean first? No?
Then don't put a cover on it.
Any movement caused by wind or even just fitting the cover can cause it to rub dirt into the paint.
Tight cover, loose cover? both covers will risk scratching the paint if not clean beforehand.
It's a faff to put on, a faff to take off, then where to store it.
If it's wet, it needs to be dried.
The novelty of covering it up will wear off.
