MG4 Trophy DAB Radio Issues

After the car powers up, you'll likely need to reset the steering wheel (1) and reset all the windows (2).

(1) turn the wheel fully to the left, then fully to the right, then return to the centre
(2) fully lower the driver's window, fully raise the driver's window (may need to be done in increments). Repeat for the other 3 windows.

You may also need to reset any preferences you'd made (e.g. for the CUSTOM drive mode, HVAC settings, etc.)

Sorry I decided not to try it this time as it is still under guarantee and is due to go in the garage, but after talking to a few people I may have to try it in the future

Hi all, I was forced to do a reset due to 12 volt battery failure (posted on another page) and followed the instructions supplied by siteguru all worked fine and the radio now works Hooray.

just to add my piece, DAB & FM worked fine. Drove to manchester and when coming back, was listening through Apple CarPlay. DAB was still stuck with Manchester DAB settings in London, so nothing showing (even National DAB stations not working). No FM

Tried the Home for 10 secs trick, no luck, and then a factory reset, and still nothing

Local garage has a 6 weeks wait time for an appointment, and then thats just investigation. Like some others, not keen on taking battery out. So just have to wait.

Although I also get the 'USB Disk Identification Failure' - even when nothing plugged in. So think something is failing somewhere

Try the battery disconnection tip it certainly worked for me. Travelling along the M27 yesterday listen to the local radio station voice noticifcation that it was changing to music stick lost radio for a short while.
