Another little mod. A quick de-badge.
Looks much better, cleaner, smoother and just that tad bit, easier to clean.

Also, I'd not even opened the bonnet, until
today. Actually wasn't to bad, as I'd heard reports of it being totally filthy.
But still wasn't up to my standards. Now it is. Like a nice clean "Engine" bay.

indeed, my under bonnet nicely cleaned and protected also with a ceramic sealant.
Was always a stickler for a clean ‘engine bay’.

Nice de badge, I was thinking of something similar , and replacing the rear MG badge with a BMW and the front with a Toyota/ Mercedes item. Might come in handy for speed camera photo evidence. " oh no ! has someone cloned my reg plate ?"

You have a hairdryer/heat gun and some dental floss.

To be fair, I didn't need the floss.
Just heated up the badge gently and evenly, then eased it off.

Any sticky residue can be got off with some tar remover or similar.

Agree it's really easy, all done in about 15 mins. I took a slightly different route.
Warmed up, with a hair dryer, thought a heat gun would be a bit harsh. I used fishing line. They literally fall off. Then the thick residue with me finger. Then WD40 for the last of the glue. Then a final polish with Autoglym. Any of the above works.
