- MG4 XPOWER
Black is the only colour X Power I have seen in the wild.
Looks Great.?
Looks Great.?
Good evening. First. Post, New to the car, made the transit to electric after 2years with Mini Countryman PHEV, the XPOWER is an amazing bit of kit, so much to learn. Mods so far , not many, just a black MG badge at the front, (so much better than the original silver on the volcanic orange IMPO), fewin the pipeline but who knows. Want to get front and rear dash ams fitted, anyone got experience for wiring.?
Good evening. First. Post
Congratulations you bought a great coloured car! Welcome to team Orange, or maybe ’The Mandarin Marvels’ ?Good evening. First. Post, New to the car…..
Doh! Done something similar before my XPower arrives - what's the difference? ?Oh, by the way, before I became a bit savvy about all things MG4. I ordered front and rear black badges, not realising the rear black badge only fits the SE. ?
So any SE owner's want it. Free, gratis, nowt... ??
I've just ordered front and back because on AliExpress it had better ratings than the seller with front only. It was only £12 or something like that so not an issue.Doh! Done something similar before my XPower arrives - what's the difference? ?
Great job, racing green is wicked and unique. You see very few other green cars, which are generally less attractive green, but some of modern Skoda’s look good in it. Their EV lineup is ludicrously over priced, £52K, nowhere as fast as Xpower!Just a bit of fun Chaps. (Any Chapesses?)
If you want to add your vehicle and any modifications you have carried out that would be great.
I am genuinely interested to see what you have done (or not done) to your cars.?
My car is in Racing Green which I adore, and is a fascinating colour to see in the
flesh.

I fitted front and rear dash cameras for peace of mind.
I liked the front blade trims so added them along with a blacked out MG front badge cover.

Too Phat for some ?
Next up was an LED interior light package which gives some welcome illumination in the rear of the car.

I also changed the front courtesy lights for LED items.
A rubber mat set was next, front and rear which is essential for me living at the end of a country lane.
Next up came a Quadlock phone mount.
It's what I use on my motorbike, so I knew it would be great in the car.

My tyres were up next, something I would have done anyway, regardless of the vibe issue, which as you may know, has virtually eliminated them in my case.

The new tyres have also put paid to any more off roading I was planning on doing.

?
I am extremely happy with my car at the moment but do have a couple of other mods in the pipeline for the future. ?
Edit: I forgot to add....
LEDs, for the rear indicators and reversing lights.
Mud Flaps.
Driver Visor Extender.
Centre console storage tray.
Black X Power Badge.
To be honest, if you're only lowering up to 30mm, you won't need different dampers. As you probably know H&R do springs for the X Power, lowering it about 30mm. Perfect. ??Great job, racing green is wicked and unique. You see very few other green cars, which are generally less attractive green, but some of modern Skoda’s look good in it. Where and what did you get the green LED lights and how did you fit?
I’ve consider a lower set of springs, but they should be matched to dampers as well. I wonder if others have.

What V2L cable are you using?V2L scores brownie points (hair dryer/straighteners + beer fridge) on recent camping trip to Dorset...
