MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

Just had another short drive around at 20mph! Have to say they are very noisy tyres in my opinion, also transmit the road surface texture into car a lot more than I have experienced with other tyres/cars. Was going to nip in to tyre place, but could see they were busy. Looking at the tread it is has wider gaps and not a lot of rubber in contact with road surface or so it appears. Have the tyre pressures spot on, using a gauge that is accurate, but no difference.

I presume you have the standard Bridgestone Turanza T005 EV's on yours ? My Bridgestones don't seem too noisy to be honest ????

I presume they have removed all transport chocks on the suspension as part of the PDI (if they use them on MG's). I remember a few Golf owners finding them still in on new cars and suffering . ?

Mine are a bit noisy for the first couple of miles, but soon quieten down with a bit of temperature in them.

Another thing that is totally subjective though really ?

They are the Bridgestones so same as other XPowers and did check for transport chocks. One of the first things I did having experienced on the Golf R. Going on a decent trip tomorrow so will be able to put some mile on, using 50/60 mph roads, will give me a chance to open up and assess tyres better. The EV6 was so quiet and serene just need to get used to this one.
Although when just moving car into garage after being parked up for a couple hours, got dash full of warning lights including rear motor not available nor LKA. I reckon I was too quick to select drive as they all then cleared, again totally different start procedure that I will need to adapt to.

I know folk have mentioned the "Red Dot" to indicate the heaviest part of the tyre, and mine only has one tyre with the remnants of a dot.
So does that mean....

A, The others never had it, so are out of balance?
or
B, I've washed the other dots off at some stage?
Couldn't think of a C? ?

Did a 45 mile round trip earlier today to put the car through its paces, very impressed, apart from tyres as posted elsewhere. I did have a chance to hit 70 on a section of dual carriageway and in my case the vibration is minimal, thankfully. I must be one of the lucky ones,

Agree m8, my vibes are minimal, whilst others reckon it's like going over a cattle grid.
Definitely pointing to, tyres that are out of balance, flat spotted (during shipping) or piss poor quality/quality control IMO.

Did my first motorway miles over the last few days and yes my car has the vibe. Starts around 63mph and is dependant on road surface as well as speed. In my car you car hear a low frequency hum and there is noticeable vibration in the steering wheel, like you might sense if holding a piece of wood that was being sanded.

I have exactly the same as you, can hear it in the cabin and a sanding vibration through the steering wheel, my dealer is aware and I'm waiting to see what MG do.
Like others, I think it's the tyres, they seem to be quite noisy so maybe the hard compound doesn't work well with the cars setup and suspension.

Mine certainly feels like the tyres as I can feel the sensation from steering wheel down to the pedals.....I have mine booked in on 2nd Jan with MG so will see what they will say.
