I have a 3½ year old MG5. The rear window has started to blister in parts showing small round 'bubbles' over the window. Has any one else had this problem and would it be covered by the 7 year warranty? Advice would be appreciated.

If that is the window tinting starting to fail then as it is aftermarket then not covered by warranty.

If it's something else then take it in and find out.

Have you tried pressing the bubbles with your finger to see if the plastic will re-attach to the glass?

Thank you all for your helpful replies. I have tried pressing the bubbles but it doesn't work. I'll take to the local MG dealer and see what response I get. Maybe a claim under the warranty?

That’s had after market tinting applied. Therefore it won’t be covered by warranty.
