More Space for the Front Seat

I need more space in the front driver seat.

What options do i have? I need to replace the seat?

This is the only option!
WARNING do not try this on the MG5 roof rails!

Basically, I want to extend the rails on the driver seat, so that the seat can be moved further towards the back seat, ideally all the way, to give room when I'm fine dining in the car

Why not just sit in another seat to eat? As a solution that:

1) Costs nothing
2) Won’t impact your warranty
3) Won’t impact your insurance
4) Will not need to be reversed at some point in the future

Nah, that'll never work - he'll have to stretch over to the driver's seat tray to eat his food!! Perish the thought that he'll get indigestion too!!
