Good evening, greetings from Greece. I am a new member and I just received my new MGEV exclusive edition today. I will upload some photos and I would like you to tell me if the image of the car is normal and if it can be restored. The seller told me that he just wants a good cleaning which he didn't have time to do. I believe that the car was left in the sun for a long time and the damage is not reversible. Your opinions count because on Monday he promised me that he would wash it and everything will be fine .I am very afraid that some things will be presented to me as normal.

It looks like the surface of the rubber has oxidised so a good plastic and rubber restorer should bring it back to new. Or you could us Meguiar's Ultimate liquid Wax. It's not cheap but can be used on the paintwork and plastics and the liquid version doesn't leave any white residue.

I suggest you apply, any treatment that you plan to use, in the shade and on cool trim.
If thats possible for you, especially at this time of the year in Greece.

I will not do any treatment my friend.I bought a brand new car and the car i receive isn’t brand new.I already ask from the car dealership to bring me a new one.I am waiting from their response..

It looks like some strong detergent has been used on it and marked the plastic - a good restoration fluid should get some of it out, but maybe not all
