I'm sure the dealer will help if I take it back in, but I thought I'd ask on here and see if I can sort it myself.

1. Navigation using the built-in sat nav allows me to find an address and navigate to it - I get the "proceed to the indicated road" prompt but the location of the car doesn't track as I move and no further prompts. The location of the car is correct at start of navigation so GPS is working. Dealer said by email "It might be that permission to sat nav might not have been accepted. Could you have a look through settings?" - however I can't find anything anywhere in settings regarding permission. Any pointers ?

2. I can't get Android Auto to connect. I'm using the USB A port, my phone is a Pixel 8 (AA is built in to the OS), AA settings on the phone is waiting for me to connect a new car, but nothing. I'll try a different cable, but any other pointers ?

Many thanks all

1. After more googling, could this be the "Dead Reckoning" fix ? I'll try to find it and turn it off.
2. I'll try another cable after tea

1. Disabling "Dead Reckoning" and restarting infotainment has I think sorted the issue
2. Swapping to a proper USBA to USBC data cable allowed Android Auto to connect and it's all working splendidly. I suspect the first cable I tried was charge only, ie didn't have the data connections.
