New MG3 Hybrid+ owner

HELLO TO YOU ALL, TOOK DELIVERY OF MY MG3 HYBRID+ ON 28TH OCTOBER 2024, I CHOSE DYNAMIC RED TROPHY, I HAVE TO SAY I'M EXTREMELY PLEASED UP TO NOW, ONLY DONE AROUND 800 MILES TO DATE, SOME OF THE TECHNICAL STUFF HAD ME A BIT CONFUSED BUT I KNOW THE BASICS NOW & AM LEARNING ON A NEED TO KNOW BASIS, ITS BEEN A GREAT HELP TO HAVE BOUGHT THE PAPER MANUAL (446 PAGES). I AM VERY PLEASANTLY SUPRISED AS TO HOW QUICK IT IS, THE RESPONSE IS VERY GOOD AS IS ACCELERATION, I'D LIKE TO SEE ELECTRIC MODE KICK IN MORE OFTEN BUT I UNDERSTAND WHAT WITH LIGHTS & HEATER ON ALL THE TIME ITS GOING POWERED BY ENGINE QUITE A LOT OF THE TIME, I ONLY DO SHORTISH TRIPS SO I'M AVERAGING APPROX. 48 MPG, I'M SURE THAT WILL GO UP IN THE COMING SPRING WHEN I'LL BE USING LESS LIGHTS & HEATER & DOING LONGER JOURNEYS. ALL IN ALL I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH MY PURCHASE & THE VERY COMPETATIVE PRICE. i HAD THE "CERAMIC" COATING APPLIED & ALTHOUGH EXPENSIVE I WOULD ADVISE FUTURE BUYERS TO HAVE THIS DONE. I LOOK FORWARD TO DOING SOME READING ON HERE WHEN I HAVE MORE TIME. EXTRAS ADDED ARE GOOD QUALITY FLOOR MATS INCLUDING BOOT, DASHCAM, DOOR THRESHOLD STRIPS, DOOR GUARDS CHANGED BLACK WHEEL NUT COVERS TO CHROME ONES & A GOOD QUALITY COMPASS. THINGS TO DO WHEN THE WEATHER GETS BETTER ARE FIT THE REAR DASHCAM & PAINT THE CALIPERS. I'LL BE IN TOUCH SOON, UNTIL THEN "DRIVE SAFE", JOHN.

Hello to you all.

Took delivery of my MG3 Hybrid+ on 28th October 2024. I chose a Dynamic Red Trophy. I have to say I’m extremely pleased up to now, only done around 800 miles to date.

Some of the technical stuff had me a bit confused but I know the basics now & am learning on a need to know basis. It’s been a great help to have bought the paper manual (446 pages).

I am very pleasantly surprised as to how quick it is, the response is very good as is acceleration. I'd like to see electric mode kick in more often but I understand what with lights & heater on all the time it’s going powered by engine quite a lot of the time.

I only do shortish trips so I’m averaging approximately 48 mpg. I’m sure that will go up in the coming spring when I’ll be using less lights & heater & doing longer journeys.

All in all I am very impressed with my purchase & the very competitive price. I had the "ceramic" coating applied & although expensive I would advise future buyers to have this done.

I look forward to doing some reading on here when I have more time.

Extras added are good quality floor mats including boot, dashcam, door threshold strips, door guards changed black wheel nut covers to chrome ones & a good quality compass.

Things to do when the weather gets better are fit the rear dashcam & paint the callipers. I’ll be in touch soon, until then "drive safe"
