New MG4 owner here!

Hi all!

Been lurking for a while but decided to join in the fun!

Had my MG4 about 6 weeks! SE SR. Absolutely delighted with it and fingers crossed absolutely no faults, squeaks or rattles this far.

The MG replaced a BMW X2 2.0i which felt archaic compared to this! My other car is a BMW i3 which I love but the MG is a delight!

Attempting to return to the original thread ;-) - welcome MG4 Concert! We had our first electric MG over 3 years ago now (MG ZS EV back in Feb. 2020) just before lockdown hit. It was a godsend, as we were able to drive around the countryside to get out of the house, without ever going near a petrol station! - We test drove a bunch of cars before ordering both the MG ZS EV and the Kia e-Niro. The Kia was on a 10 month waiting list at the time, so I got mine around oct 2020. Since then we've been a totally electric family, and have never looked back!! - When we swapped my wife's ZS out for the MG4 in December, it was another jump up in quality and driving pleasure - the rear wheel drive makes a HUGE difference (the other two cars were front wheel, and keep/kept wheel-spinning all the time). So you've chosen absolutely the right car to launch yourself into the EV revolution!!

Thank you for your warm welcome! I've no doubt the 4 was the correct choice. It's an amazing car! I do love my i3 though too so like you, we have an all electric household. No looking back!

HaHa, by your picture you are also on 2 wheels. I ride a motorbike (summer weekends only, nowadays) and that's still petrol (can't quite wean myself off the lovely rumble of a Triumph twin through after-market exhausts ;-))

Yup. It doesn't get out much so I don't worry about the 2-stroke clag much!! Lol! Yes that's a good sound right there!
