Yeah it is nowhere near as aggressive as it ought to be saying “erm, ‘Fraid not, wait until off peak to charge”, just sorts you out cheap charging at any time off the day almost?!
There got to be some dodgy things to do with a battery (with or without solar!), given you can get guaranteed 15p kWh output too. But TBF to Octopus they do say they are beta and ask you to not take the piss. Still, household leccy at 7p per kWh during the day will do me!
