The new MG 5 has only increased in overhaul weight by 15 Kg's.
So, this tells us that the HV battery size / number of cells have not been increased to achieve this.
The increase in range has been found by battery technology improvements.
The longer range ZS EV is due latter this year, but I feel we WILL see a increase in battery pack / cell size here.
Rumours are 60 to 70 Kw's ?????.
A bridge to far to expect the older 44 kw pack to stretch to this capacity ! .

With extra weight .......... are we thinking 250 miles ( ish ) ????.
