Yes, I've generally in the past gone for nearly new high milers, in getting the best 'bang for my bucks' but the heavy discounting by MG in the latter part of last year became a no-brainer for me
I got a similar amount for my 3yo Exclusive with more miles (23k) as mentioned aboiut - £11.5k. I'd got the NHS discount which they were offering at the time so the depreciation was about £15k over 3 years (can't remember exact buying price!!)
It used to be said that a car was only worth at best 70% of its list price the second it was driven out of the showroom, and I believe that's still true - of ICE and EVs.
Given the ridiculously cheap prices some of us have bought EVs at over the autumn period it'll be interesting to see how they depreciate. Certainly against list price mine was somewhere around 30% before I even bought it (or call it a discount or whatever).
I meant the last one to be a keeper and had it not been for the silly prices it would have been. Now I'm planning for this one (LR Trophy) to be a keeper
