Problem setting regeneration system

I drive an MG3, model year 2024, which has a three-level regeneration system. The default setting is the middle level. Every time I get into the car, I have to manually set the regeneration to level 1 (low level). The middle level feels uncomfortable, especially when driving downhill, as I need to keep my foot on the accelerator to prevent the car from slowing down too much due to the regeneration. I prefer level 1, as it suits my driving style much better.

However, the car always resets to the default middle level after being turned off and back on. I don’t understand why I have to keep adjusting it every time. This doesn’t seem to have anything to do with safety. Is there a way to save my preference for level 1 so that it stays selected even after restarting the car?

There's no way of saving your settings at present, as it always defaults to level two in normal mode. Have you tried linking regen mode to one of the star keys, as that way, you can toggle between the three levels easily.

I have the same problem. And I think that the best regenaration level is 1, in most cases. Any news (update or something else) about that? Is there any chance it could be done with programming via the OBD gate?

There is no way to save these. However, I have made it so that one of the stars on my steering wheel controls the braking regen button - this saves me going through the setting all the time! Hope this helps!

Different people,different levels,,,,For me all 3 mode are excellent,and they must be used properly,,,

I like eco mode with regen 3, everyone should be able to set a default they are happy with
