Has anyone noticed a noise coming from there CT clamp a bit like arking or a hi pitch buzz?

OK sorry its a little clamp they fit on your tails when you have some chargers fitted

It is a transformer so it's possible although not usual because of its small size.

Oh great.. My tails are above the bedroom door, so I guess I've got buzzing to put up with from midnight to 4am.

Apparently the air gap is a bit to big I moved it a bit and it got worse moved again now quiet?

The job of the CT clamp is to induce a voltage by wrapping a magnet around the power cable.

The more current that flows through the tail, the more induced, which can be reliably converted in the circuitry (e.g. 0.8v = 5a equivalent and so on).

I've never had a CT clamp make enough noise to make it audible other than right next to it mind you and that was pulling 70+ amps through the tail!
