Real World X Power mi/kWh Thread.

47 years in a couple of months.........I have been allowed Opel Manta (sheep in wolf's clothing), Opel Kadette SR, Honda Civic Type R and Lotus Elise mark 2 in the past, but my wife was the driving force behind getting the XPower and we both love it (still not had it in Sport mode though........that treat awaits us!).

averaging 21km per kWh done 90 something hours of driving and 2700 km since i bought it ..

How has the better weather affected everyone's miles per kWh? Over the winter mine was in the order of 3.5 (most of my driving is shorter journeys at <50mph, but since the weather has improved, all journeys are now in the range 4.5 to 5!

I was seeing closer to 2.7 in the Winter and getting the same 4.5 to 5 when ambient temp is 18 deg C or more. However, that is in Normal mode for journeys less than 10 miles and not when the car is being driven as a hot hatch. In sport mode efficiency varies from 2.4 to 3 miles per kWh

I was getting around 2.7 - 3.3 over Winter (depending on speed and distance of trip etc....)

Now getting around 3.4-4.0, so an an improvement of around 0.7 = equivalent to about 21%-25% which seems about right ?.

Same here m8.

What's good about that figure for me is that the AC is always on for comfort, and significant amounts of 'B.D' can still be enjoyed regularly.
