Don't see why you need the car to remind you, of servicing. If you get your car in September 2023 and it needs servicing every 12 months you get it serviced in September 2024, simple's, isn't it?
As said, put the date in your phone. Or even simply marked on a Calendar at home, which you with see every day. Same principle for when your insurance, car tax etc etc is due. It's not rocket science.
