So it seems the app for MG ZS EV has issues. I was told by MG this morning and they can’t say when it will be fixed. So I am assuming all MG apps are locked out of communicating with your EV . great support from MG ????
 
There are 'issues' at the moment but they seem to clear in about 24hrs.
ISmart was working for me earlier but isn't now.
 
As soon as somebody on the forum asked the following question :-
“Is your App working okay - mine is down”.
Everybody jumps on to check their App and the server becomes overloaded ?.

Ever since they’ve updated the app we have had nothing but problems with it. I can’t get it to work at all at the mo! Not very good customer service from MG

Been down since 22nd for me. In the 3 months I've had my ZS the app has been about as much use as the proverbial chocolate teapot. It's definitely down more often than working, and you can almost guarantee that when you need it most, like to warm the car up before setting off to work at 6am, or you want to check the progress of charging at a motorway services charge point, it won't work. The car is great, but honestly, if I'd have known their app was so ridiculously unreliable, I'd have gone for a different car. I'd prefer not to have an app at all, as this unreliable is worse than nothing. I may as well delete the app and use the car without it for all the good it is. MG seriously need to pull their fingers out.

For myself, the App has been down for nearly two days now.
The App has finally returned from its two day walk about and is working again on IOS with the latest version of 2.0.4.
How long for, is another thing ?.

Mine's been down for about 2 weeks now. Can't get it to connect at all, no response from MG support. Great.
