Smart charging?

I bought my MG ZS EV in November 2019 and have yet to obtain a smart charge. Rolec charger managed with an EV app. Any advice gratefully received.
I am on a Good Energy EV Green driver tariff so off peak charging should cost 7p/kWh. EV have confirmed latest details on my smart phone and in theory I should only be charging between midnight and 7am. I have had all the latest MG upgrades.

Just went to do a charge at 10.00 pm and, as usual, it started charging straight away on the day tariff.

Smart car, Smart meter from the leading renewable energy supplier (Which magazine) with a Smart charger managed by an EV Smart app on a Smart phone - but still having to stay up until midnight to get a Smart charge - which is unreasonable.

Have you had all the software updates to the car as I believe the earlier ones wouldn't smart charge?

On my Ohme I set the max price so it won't use above 5p can you set the Rolex to only use 7p?

Thank you. I had the latest upgrade on 23 Aug. I asked for details of what had been done and they didn’t know but would ask MG and get back to me. Nothing yet.

Really poor, they are saying that they don't know what they did !

Contact Rolec/EV.energy and explain to them, they have resolved this for others previously and may involve a trickle charge. - Nothing to lose.

That sounds like an issue with the charger, not the car!
