So do you like your MG ZS EV?

I have had mine since Sept 22 and it has been great. I still have a smile driving it. With regard to the V2L there are a few threads on this. They did try to discontinue I believe but if you look at the threads you can check the number on the unit to see if it matches yours.

Coming up to 2 years ownership of my LR Trophy and still happy overall. Had to get the V2L sorted under warranty and have had one return to dealer to fix a load of random warnings (turned out to be a failed relay), all dealt with under the warranty. Very cheap car to run when charging at home and the service plan was a good deal.
Now the not so good! Looking at prices quoted more recently on this forum I could have saved well over £10k if I had waited, that's a lot of money for a sunroof!
I find the car comfortable and easy to drive and am enjoying ownership. I have no plans to change car anytime soon so will have forgotten how much extra I paid when that time comes.

Had ours for two years now. Only problem has been two broken rear springs, at different times, both repaired under warranty. This seems to be a known fault in early Trophy LRs. Worth checking yours out.
Don't know what an EVCC is. Did you mean EVAC? We've had no problems with ours and are not aware of any recall. Can't say as I've noticed any lines in the headlight beams. I'll probably start noticing now that you've mentioned them!

My 2022 Trophy just passed MOT with flying colours, springs are fine 🙂. Very happy with mine so far.
Service plan brought MOT cost down to fixed £27.50 annual charge and tyre change at £15 per tyre 😀👍

Do I love it? No.
I've probably been on here too many times already saying what I dislike about the car so I'll start on the positives this time.
It's quite a nice, if spongy, ride and very quiet. My friend's Tesla emits quite a loud whine listening from outside the car, the MG is quiet even outside.
The adaptive cruise control works quite nicely, you can even use it when crawling along in a queue.
It's quite roomy inside the cabin, though somehow the boot is pretty small. My Honda Civic (2013) could get 4 largish suitcases in the back with a bit of Tetris skill but the MG could only get 2 (or 3 if I blocked the entire rear window and removed all the rear headrests) which was a surprise.
It looks ok, if a little bland. The seats are quite comfortable but why the heck do they call it 'vegan leather'? It's plastic!
I won't go through all the bad things in detail again but pretty much everything about the infotainment system is awful from design to operation, and operating the radio could not be worse. I turned off all the auto features: auto-beam headlights (blinds everyone in winter), lane 'assist' (which pings you across the road), voice control (doesn't work at all). The range on my standard range is only about 120 miles in the real world in Winter.
I bought a 2024 Trophy Connect, 5 months old for £19.5k so not bad value. I traded in my 2015 Mercedes 220D Convertible, which I did love, so maybe my negativity is slight resentment at having to chop that in for a more 'practical' car.
Would I buy it again? I'd look at 2-3yo better EVs first, buy may have ended up back here but probably would have stumped up the extra for a LR model.

Our 2023 Long Range is now 5.5 months old and now done 12000km (5000km was used on 19 day holiday Jan/Feb) Had HS Excite previously so familiar with MG traits (all cars have) The entertainment is better but still can glitch out on ZS EV (restart normally fixes). On holiday found out the handling far outdid its price point and the seats were comfortable, the lights are also nice and bright, overall still very happy purchased. An added bonus is previously spent about $90 a week on petrol (95ron) but 1st 5000k cost $29 in ZS. Our local university 10 min walk 4hr charge (11kwh rated ZS does 9.8 kwh) costs about $6 (.015 kw) or free 5pm to 8 am. And best 100% charge so far is 550km, settles down about 30km quickly but shows 248km at 50%. Also costs less to insure than HS for twicevalue. In Australia MG give a 10 year car & 10 year battery warranty so all up value proposition was too good to pass up
