Space saver tyre

I'm not a big fan of the "get me home gloop" that seems to be the rage these days in the name of weight and cost savings.

I've always had a spare tyre in all of my cars whether they be full sized or a space saver in the case of the ZS ICE that I currently lave.

Is there any plans for MG Motor UK to release a space saver kit for the MG4 or failing that, the option of using run flats instead of the factory supplied 215/50/17's?

There is a thread about this somewhere. A chap in his man-shed shows you how to accommodate a space saver wheel in his MG4. I copied him and only lost about about an inch of floor height. It's quite easy and works well.
