Speed and power

As that is 100 mph I doubt many people could say (except maybe our German friends).

The actual answer will depend on terrain and other conditions (like weather, wind direction, etc.) ... if you're going down an incline then power may be 0% or even into regen (although this is unlikely given the drag that will be present at that speed).

I'm asking about power in % because during constant acceleration, which fluctuates around 85%, after exceeding about 112 kph, it drops automatically to 32% despite pressing the gas pedal.

So I try to find reason why ..

Ah. So your question is about power delivery to reach 160 kph rather than power delivery at 160 kph. (Acceleration is different to constant speed).

What is your State of Charge when you do these tests?

Bear in mind also that the UK version of the SE SR is limited to 99 mph (158 kph) ... so I suspect what's happening is that you're reaching the speed limiter so the car reduces power delivery accordingly.

The test was carried out at 83% of the fatigue charge, there is still some distance to reduce power at 160kph.
Is there anyone on the forum who knows the power control algorithm, i.e. parameters and additional values that cause power reduction?

well our speed limit is 110. next time I'm on the freeway, I'll go a bit over and see what happens.

Are you testing with your foot flat to the floor?
And expect a smooth acceleration up to 160, but the acceleration decreases markedly at 112?
Does it eventually get to 160? or aren't you allowed to go that fast.
Is it limited by Polish Law?
There's a heap of unknowns here

Not sure if there is such thing on the MG4 but our MG5 needs to set it to “Sport” mode if you want max performance?
in sport mode, the same situation

I'm looking forward to the results of your measurements

  • tests conducted with foot on the floor
  • Polish law does not limit this
  • after exceeding approximately 112 km/h, the power drops to 32%

Just run a couple of tests and mine definitely pulls 100% power well above 140kph.

We have seen your failure in some Italian vehicles after updates, they had to go back to the service center and had their software refreshed as one of the updates didn't apply properly. I think it was the imcu but I may be mistaken
