Hi Folks

I'm looking for some advice regarding a steering fault? I've seen it mentioned a few times but can't find any info on it.

I booked my ZS in with MG Chapelhouse, St Helens on 21 July with the usual Media unit faults you see on here and a clicking/knocking sound from the steering. They are aware there is an update for the Media unit and advised that the steering needs a new part which is currently on back order. This coming week they will have had my car for 4 weeks. When I phone them for an update, the situation is the same and they're not able to provide even an approximate date when they expect the part to arrive. How long have you had to wait it you've had to have the steering fixed?

On a side note, I've always found Main Dealers a nightmare to deal with and MG have not changed my view. I have had dealings with both MG Chapelhouse, Southport and St Helens mentioned above and they have been so poor, expecially with regards to communication. If I didn't phone, I don't think I'd know anything, I've had to chase them at every point.

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, I don't think your experience with dealers is unique :( Fingers crossed they can sort it for you soon.
