Tried a new polish today (EDIT: waxed my car for the first time!)

Tried out a new polish wax today on the MG. Supagard 365 gloss enhancer, and it certainly does!

The car's looking very nice and I'm glad you've blacked the tyre sidewalls which a lot of people don't do.
Looks like a similar product to Autoglym's Rapid Aqua Wax which I use.

Yes it is. I guess their Paintseal cream that I've used previously is the polish, and this then seals it with a wax?

I didn't black the tyre sidewalls this time. That's from two weeks ago when I last washed the car.

Polish is designed to remove a small amount of the top coat to remove fine scratches/swirl marks/stains etc. It's not a seal, it in facts exposes a fresh layer of ghat top coat which then needs to be sealed using various types of waxes/ceramic coatings/etc.

I used it on the glossy black plastic (rear corners) Comes up like a mirror. On the satin finish plastic trim and tyres I use Supaguard tire and trim dressing.
