Trip computer resets?

I've noticed this reset of the 'accumulated total' but also that since start sometimes is the start of a long trip regardless of a charge mid trip and other times resets when we stop and charge. Not yet worked out when it will do the one and when the other! Never mind, we lived without such interesting info when I learned to drive in a Fiat 128!

I'm not sure either how long you can stop for before the 'since start' resets when you set off again. On a recent 350 mile trip we made a couple of stops that each lasted 30-40 minutes and the 'since start' did not reset. It kept accumulating the distance for the whole journey. When I go to my evening ukulele group and leave the car parked for roughly 3 hours, the 'since start' resets and treats the return journey as a new trip. So I guess it's somewhere between those two times...?

I think it's an hour. This is in contrast to my old Golf in which it was two hours.

Don't bother looking in the manual:

"When the vehicle is powered off for a period of time, these
values will be reset"

My anecdotal observation is that anything less than an hour and the Since Start keeps the data - more than an hour and it resets. I don't know where exactly around the hour mark this is though, so I can't say that it is exactly an hour.
